Competitive Intelligence Analyst - Individual Life (Finance)
If so, Guardian is seeking a Competitive Intelligence Analyst. The Competitive Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for tracking the overall market activities of specific competitors, industries, and related topics reporting back on new initiatives, threats, and opportunities. You'll be responsible for coordinating, maintaining, leading, and managing projects and processes at an individual level and for the team. You'll be responsible for providing medium to high complexity analytical and competitive research to support management, the product development team and the Guardian agency system. You should have a very strong understanding of life insurance products; have excellent analytical and communication skills, and strong attention to detail. You should be comfortable conducting deep analysis of life insurance products, including review of product filings and illustrations. You need to demonstrate an ability to think strategically about industry trends and competitor actions and articulate their implications for Guardian.
This position will provide the field force with detailed competitive information on peer mutual and other carriers and develop regular communication to summarize competitive pricing information, industry and carrier trends or changes, product benchmarking, and the relevancy to Guardian.
