Vice President, Finance – Technology (Finance)
As the Vice President, Finance, you will be providing proactive and insightful financial analysis to support the Workforce Solutions division within Equifax, focused on Technology, enabling both short and long term strategic and financial objectives. The VP, Finance will interface frequently with the Senior Management team to deliver financial information in a concise and meaningful manner to foster effective decision making.
The VP, Finance plays an integral part of our technology transformation and migration to the cloud. This position is responsible for analyzing technology spending (operating and capital) and trends, and preparing reports and synopsis of the business results for reporting to the business and management. As part of the Workforce Solutions division, this position will assist the Technology organization in evaluating strategic technology alternatives in support of long term planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
Drive value-added planning, budgeting and forecasting activities
Work closely with the transformation team to support ongoing activity of the cloud migration of all technology platforms
Work with various areas of the business and business unit management to prepare annual budgets, including summarizing the budget and preparing presentations supporting critical initiatives
Analyze technology spend (operating and capital) and trends
Work with the various areas of the business, managers and business unit management on monthly financial forecasts reflecting expenses, headcount, capital and other metrics
Manage business case compilation along with the business case sponsor and various business areas
Assist in preparation and implementation of new standardized reporting model (COGS, COS, Development, G&A, etc.)
Lead team of financial analysts to accomplish objectives
Work collaboratively with Technology team members to evaluate strategic alternatives in support of long term planning objectives
Work collaboratively with the other FP&A team members in preparing monthly forecasts and the annual budget, identifying opportunities to enhance financial outlooks, and other financial analysis tasks and projects
Forecasts and plans resource for complex projects or initiatives
Provide ongoing support to the business
Required Skills:
10 – 15 years of experience in a finance related capacity, with at least some prior experience supporting technology teams
Understanding of cloud based modeling and has supported technology migration to the cloud
Previous finance experience to include creation and presentation of complex business cases
Experience with Capitalized Development spending
Experience with staffing and forecast modeling
Must have strong PC skills, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated experience successfully managing team of financial analysts
Makes decisions guided by policies in nonstandard situations that impact the achievement of customer, operational, or project objectives
Must be able to work as a member of a team and influence others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking skills, ability to adapt and prioritize multiple tasks, and multi-task given multiple business demands
Experience using Hyperion, Oracle Projects and/or OBI (Business Intelligence Objects), Tableau
Experience working in an agile environment
Education:
University Bachelor degree in Finance or a related discipline
MBA or Master's level degree preferred
Possess a financial designation (e.g. CFA or CPA)
