Superintendent - Service (Finance)

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience is required; Supervisory experience leading union technicians is preferred.
  • Elevator industry experience is preferred.
  • Track record of success in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships with customers, team members, and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and effective problem solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, SAP or other ERPs.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires a valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicles Report.

TK Elevator is looking for Superintendents to oversee and support our technicians, partner with clients to provide excellent customer service, and work directly with Account Managers while focusing on the goal of efficiently and effectively leading our service line of business to success. (At this point in time we are conducting networking conversations for anticipated future openings.)

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage route profitability, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. Provide feedback, data and reports to management in a timely manner.
  • Assist mechanics by: trouble shooting jobs, determining necessary materials, ordering parts, leading safety training, and conducting quality audits.
  • Partner with Account Managers to provide technical support related to scope of work, materials, and labor expenses.
  • Partner with New Installation and Modernization teams for seamless cross-functional transitions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all federal, state and local elevator industry code requirements.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of company products through leveraging resources such as TKE training classes, factory equipment updates, and support from with field trainers.
