Program Director - Nursing Administration - Full Time 8 Hour Days (Finance)
Minimum Education:
Graduate of a state approved School of Registered Nursing.
Bachelor degree in Nursing required.
Master degree required
Doctorate degree (preferred).
Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
A minimum of 5 years acute care nursing care experience.
Successfully completed documents to achieve Magnet designation. (preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills that will be used to synthesize information evaluate results and prepare interim reports and the Magent re-designation document.
Project Management experience and ability to manage timelines effectively.
Demonstrates leadership and ability to motivate others through change.
Demonstrates ability to effectively collaborate with in order to problem solve with colleagues.
Demonstrates ability to utilize effective, appropriate and diplomatic oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Access and Excel required for data gathering, analysis and presentation preparation.
Ability to utilize research data and quality data for improvement of patient-care practices.
Required License/Certification:
Valid California Registered Nurse License.
Professional certification required within 2yrs of hire.
Current Basic Life Support training.
Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintain renewal before expiration date.
