Job Description:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a team passionate about building and running highly scalable, fault tolerant distributed platforms that help transform and power Epiq's business. This role will primarily focus on hands-on coding of the project using the technologies listed below. You have proven your ability to organize workload and priorities, to complete tasks on time and to work effectively in a team environment. You will act as a resource for other software engineers, and a liaison between department managers and other analysts, as well as the business team. As you grow into this role you will be provided the opportunity to lead technical projects and mentor jr. Engineers. Effective communication and the ability to tackle difficult problems while being a team player are a must!

Ability to see the bigger picture as well as going deep on difficult technical problems

Primary responsibilities include:
Member of a team of software developers working to deliver quality software on schedule
Comfortable prioritizing and leading multiple initiatives and analyses, and in moving with speed through each
Demonstrate self-directed and proactive approach to solving problems
Participate in architectural discussions and lead technical design sessions
Proactively raise issues if specification will lead to quality, system performance, or architectural issues in product
Design new applications based on Epiq's foundational architecture
Manage new and existing development
Support maintenance of existing applications as required
Comfortable mentoring jr. engineers
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
3+ years creating automated workflows using power platform or similar technology
Proven experience building canvas and model driven apps
Familiarity with Power Platform governance, administration, and DevOps
Experience using OOB Connectors, building custom connectors, and connecting to external web API's in the Power Platform
Expert understanding of Power Platform specific languages like Power Fx
Experience with relational databases (SQL, Dataverse)
Understanding of SharePoint and SharePoint Lists as a data source
Familiarity with HTML 5, CSS, and basic JavaScript/TypeScript
Understanding of cloud architecture and strong solution design skills
1+ years mentoring fellow developers in areas of expertise
Self-starter capable of working on small teams in a fast-paced environment
Familiar with all aspects of the software development life cycle methodology including specification, documentation, testing and rollout
Experience with Agile methodologies and ceremonies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding troubleshooting and technical support skills
Nice to have:
MS Certificate PL-100, PL-200 or PL-400
Experience with Azure cloud services
Experience with Azure Logic Apps
Experience with Power Bi / DAX
Experience with PCF and Canvas components
4 + years of experience in modern, object-oriented programming languages (C#/.NET, Java, C++) and object-oriented analysis and design, including understanding common design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with Git including branching strategies
Dynamics 365 SDK familiarity
