We are currently seeking a Boutique Property Manager for our hotel in New Orleans, LA! Our property has 19 amazing units!

The Boutique Property Manager coordinates the activities of hotel personnel as directed by the Senior Management and assists him/her with the management of hotel operations. This position helps ensure the overall quality of the hotel and achievement of operational goals as well as guest satisfaction.
The Boutique Property Manager:
Assigns duties to staff, observes performance, and provides training and other assistance to ensure consistency with regard to hotel policies, operations procedures, safety standards, and quality outcomes.
Selects or assists in the selection of property operations staff and completes all new hire paperwork.
Reviews employee performance and conducts personnel actions such as disciplinary actions.
Conducts, or assists in conducting, staff meetings.
Receives and resolves, or assist in resolving, guest complaints, and employee issues.
Maintains accurate records, including direct bill accounts, credit card receipts, registration cards and night audit reports.
Adheres to all company procedures, including all operating procedures and internal audit requirements.
Inspects hotel for cleanliness and appearance and ensures that below standard items are promptly addressed.
Purchases supplies or services from outside vendors, such as landscaping, housekeeping supplies, and maintenance supplies, and manages these relationships.
Plans and administers training.
Conducts and/or schedules industry training classes relating to safety, proper procedures, and service guidelines.
Ensures that proper cleaning procedures are established to ensure the cleanliness of the facility.
Directs and coordinate with the engineering team to ensure the department is maintained and that all mechanical equipment is in good working order; ensure implementation of preventative maintenance.
Manages the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance operation, consistent with standard operating procedures.
Quickly and effectively establishes rapport with guests and staff.
Responsible for monitoring of rooms inventory, rates, plan availability, and area competition.
Analyzes demand, occupancy, and seasonal forecasts as part of being responsible for yield and rate management
Ensures reservation and billing accuracy.
Hires, trains, and supervises guest service/front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance employees, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
Schedules department staff to support occupancy and other hotel functions.
Monitors overtime, payroll and expenses to meet or fall below budget.
Communicates essential information to other hotel departments and ensures logs are kept to document guest service calls.
Responds to escalated questions and concerns from guests as needed or required to support their team.
Monitor guest satisfaction processes and feedback through comment cards and online surveys.
The Boutique Property Manager may also:
Cover shifts in all departments as scheduled.
Correspond with group and travel agents to answer special request for units and rates.
Assist with sales and marketing efforts as directed.
Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
Perform other duties as needed to ensure smooth property operations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT The Boutique Property Manager works in a noisy indoor setting with frequent interruptions and distractions. Occasional local travel may be required. This position requires work on days, evenings, weekends and holidays in is based on both the needs of the department and the hotel.
