Machinist - Level 2 (Finance)



As a Machinist - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining various machines to ensure efficient production processes.

Shift Hours: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm Thursday - Sunday

Location: Spokane, Washington.

Salary: The Salary Range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00 per hour plus shift differential.

The actual base salary will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.Honeywell is seeking an experienced Machinist for our 3rd Shift. This is a full-time position in our Spokane, WA plant.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proven experience as a machinist or similar role
  • Prior experience with machining processes and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts and components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations and specifications
  • Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy
  • Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or production issues to minimize downtime
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance and meet production goals
  • Continuously improve machining processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality
