Accounts Receivable Analyst (Finance)
Primary Responsibility :
Assist with multiple AR management reports, coordinate initiatives with IT in development of AR reporting tools, train team on transportation processes, and other ad hoc analyses and reports, and perform activities necessary for effective management of the Transportation Accounts due from the Company's largest and most complex customers.
What You'll Do :
• Be Team Lead for Transportation accounts
• Be subject matter expert of Transportation processes
• Transportation trainer for new and current team members
• Assist with Monthly AR Management package
• Assist with preparation of the monthly AR reserve analysis
• Lead initiatives to improve existing reports and tools as well as develop new reports to assist in collection activities
• Effectively handle some of the largest and most complex accounts independent of managerial input, utilizing collection application software and excel spreadsheet aging reports
• Analyze customer delinquencies and trends to identify and help resolve issues
• Project-manage issue resolution with Customers, Operations, and Business Development
• Assist in resolution of complex issues associated with transportation accounts assigned to other Collection Associates
• Other duties as assigned
What Experience and Education You Need :
• Bachelor's degree (Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required)
• Two years of financial analysis experience or proven track record
• Experience in relationship-based collections preferred
• Third party portal transportation experience (i.e., BluJay)
• Experience with SAP accounts receivable is preferred
What Could Set You Apart :
• Detail oriented with good analytical skills
• Proficient in reporting tools and with MS Office products - Word and Excel (strong Excel)
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external customers)
• Proven ability to handle complex issues and large volumes of data independently

• Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes
• Requires the performance of work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to constructive feedback from executive management
