Capital Markets Analyst (Finance)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute and monitor Foreign Exchange (FX) trading strategies in line with corporate risk management policies.
  • Develop and enhance FX and interest rate hedging models to manage balance sheet and cash flow risk.
  • Assist in interest rate risk analysis, including macroeconomic monitoring and strategy development.
  • Support debt issuance and refinancing strategies through market analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Build robust Excel-based financial models for scenario planning, cash flow modeling, and working capital analysis.
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to improve cash flow forecasting accuracy across Honeywell's global footprint.
  • Work closely with external banking partners, rating agencies, and internal investment committees.
  • Analyze and assess capital structure strategies in alignment with long-term growth and liquidity goals.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reports for senior leadership and Treasury management.

THE BUSINESS UNIT
In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong modeling expertise and a passion for global markets. You will be responsible for supporting Honeywell's capital markets activities including FX trading, interest rate hedging, debt issuance, and cash flow forecasting. This is a high-impact role interfacing with global business units, external banking partners, and internal stakeholders across Honeywell's global operations.You Must Have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, corporate treasury, or financial analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and cash flow forecasting
  • Demonstrated experience with FX trading, hedging strategies, or interest rate risk management

We Value
  • Experience in a global corporate finance or treasury environment
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with global operations
  • Familiarity with treasury management systems and financial market platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters)
