Provides continuous after-sales support to customers. This position is an entry level sales role as we seek to build our talent pool for outside sales, strategic sales and sales leadership roles.
Major Responsibilities:
Proactively drive revenue through existing customer base.
Execute and create calling campaigns to nurture customer prospects into new account relationships and expanded revenue streams.
Provide prompt response to customer issues including sample testing on customer applications.
Prepare status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, customer needs and adherence to goals.
Provide sales quotes to customers and ensure adherence to pricing strategy defined by business.
Document customer interactions in CRM tool.
Collaborate with territory and distribution sales teams to ensure leads are properly assigned and conversion from opportunity to revenue is optimized.
Attend product training while committing to self-study to enhance product and industry knowledge.
Education/Experience/Skills:
BS in Technical Field preferred (trade school or Associates Degree with experience will be considered)
0-2 years industry experience
Strong communication skills
High level of personal initiative, energy and ownership of business results
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% of time, primarily to North American Regal and customer locations.
