US Nestle
Chemist I (Finance)
Job Description
For more than 100 years, Purina has been revolutionizing pet food testing and production, and its ability to enrich the lives of pets everywhere. By 1956, mastering new production techniques, we literally reshaped pet care, introducing Dog Chow® as the first extruded dry food. We're still at it today, with Tidy Cats®, the lightweight cat litter champion of the world and the leader in the larger category. Such leadership requires constant innovation and renovation, which is so often rooted in our world-class food production standards.
As a Chemist, your larger team is our Nestlé Purina Analytical Laboratories - which was the first quality testing laboratory for the pet food industry. The laboratory, located at Purina World Headquarters in St. Louis, MO, offers comprehensive testing services for nutrients, contaminants, microbial pathogens and quality indicators.
You'll be part of our top-tier team of recognized industry leaders in food and feed testing - a team that has pioneered techniques for analysis of vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates and preservatives. We'll leverage your unique experience to support the basic research, technical applications, and production for Purina brands globally. You will also work closely with numerous internal and external groups to ensure the continued quality and success of Purina products.
Together, we'll continue a 90-year tradition of providing state-of-the-art testing and consulting to support research, product development and product quality.
We're a global organization known widely as a 'Best Place to Work'. Our culture continuously dares us to stand taller and ask "what's next?" Are you up to the dare?
