Regional Retail Training Manager - Western Region (Sales)
To effectively implement Pride retail product training programs to educate and train Pride Providers, Veteran Affairs (VA) facilities, Strategic Accounts, and Field Service Technician (FST) Partners and Pride Field Sales within an assigned region
•Coordinate and conduct technical training plans for new and continuous education on all Pride product lines for key Providers and other customers as required by Pride Sales
•Coordinate and conduct product training programs for new and continuous education on all Pride product lines for new and existing employees including but not limited to Sales
•Conduct new product training prior to product launch for Western Field Sales Representatives
•Provide technical training plans for new and continuous education on all Pride product lines to Pride's FST Partners and Providers to develop “Pride Certified” FST networks
•Lead in-house Pride product training for new employees
•Work with National Training Manager to develop training programs and integrate this training plan into the Pride Learning Management System (LMS)
•Coordinate and conduct training for strategic cross selling of products and accessories for Sales
•Collaborate effectively with Marketing and National Training Manager to create and maintain a video training program to support the needs of Sales and Technical Service
•Collaborate with Research & Development (R&D) to develop and communicate insights on competitive products consistently looking to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of each competitor
•Work in conjunction with the National Training Manager and Pride Sales leadership to create effective sales strategies to combat SWOT results
•Work closely with Field Sales leadership to develop and implement a regional travel schedule to educate customers on product lines, and utilize remote digital technology when feasible
•Attend key industry trade events as needed
•Travel frequently with Pride Field Sales as needed
•Test and troubleshoot products by collaborating with other internal departments
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
•Must be dynamic, a team player, friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and honest
Must have the ability to:
•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
•Guide, direct, and motivate staff in a training setting
•Form collaborative relationships with other internal groups
•Read and comprehend work instructions
•Use hand tools, standard power tools and load testers
•Travel up to 50% of the time as business needs dictate
•Lift/push/pull 50lbs
Must have:
•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
•Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent presentation and training skills in both a one-on-one and group setting
•Excellent working knowledge of Pride's products and services preferred
•At least 3 years of sales and/or technical experience in the mobility industry inclusive of presenting and demonstrating products to customers
•At least 5 years of experience inclusive of presenting and demonstrating products to customers in the mobility industry preferred
•At least 1 year of experience with the specific products preferred
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
•High School Diploma or GED
•Associate Degree in a related field preferred
•Location can be anywhere in the Western U.S. within a reasonable radius of a major airport
