Woodland Hills office of our client seeks estate planning and trust administration associate attorney with 1-3 years of experience. The candidate will meet with prospective and existing clients for consultations on estate planning matters of all levels of complexity, and pre- and post-mortem trust administration. Will meet with clients for initial engagement and at signings and ensure that legal client planning needs are met by preparing estate plans and providing legal advice. Work closely with the paralegal team to ensure documents are accurate and support the best needs of the client. Be willing to work within the tried-and-true firm process which focuses on maximum efficiency and effectiveness while keeping the client experience and attorney ethics at the center. Review draft of estate plans to ensure that the plan meets clients needs and wishes, along with any recommendations made to the client. Respond to any client phone calls or e-mails in a timely, personable manner. Participate in weekly attorney team meetings to address matter status, discuss cases, receive training, and engage with team members. Originate new business through your own networking and marketing ideas. Stay abreast of all continuing education requirements. Knowledge of law pertaining to estate planning and settlement is essential. Must be licensed attorney by the California State Bar. Willingness to pursue the certification for State Bar Certified Specialist in Trust, Wills, and Probate (as described in Section 2.0 of the applicable State Bar standards) in the near future is preferred.
