Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Documented phlebotomy training or experience.
Computer keyboard and basic computer experience.
Basic knowledge of medical and laboratory terminology.
Interpersonal skills which support effective and professional interactions with staff and clients.
Analytical and problem solving skills to organize work and resolve daily problems.
Working knowledge of insurances and managed care requirements. (Site specific)
Manual dexterity and color discrimination for safe operation of instruments and handling of specimens.
This position includes weekend, holiday and on call rotations.
