Summary:
Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, hiring and recommending placement of exceptional and ensure that they meet the company and department objectives are accomplished, and ensuring a superior candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment and hiring process. This strategic partner will utilize market trends and intelligence, while working on different types and levels of positions across the organization. Leads team members to plan and implement projects. Responsible for the recommendation and negotiation of the total compensation project- Conduct Targeted Selection Training for hiring managers Supports Manager, Talent Acquisition in onboarding, training and implementing development activities with Talent Acquisition Partners and Administrators as well as other team members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage the entire recruitment life cycle for assigned functions and locations, achieving established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); specifically recruit, interview, hire and recommend placement of team members.
Conduct thorough intake meetings with hiring managers to understand the role and required qualifications, educate the hiring team on process, roles and responsibilities and establish a strong partnership.
Focus on external recruitment initiatives, while acting as a key contact and strategic partner to business groups within the organization and promoting organic growth/managing internal recruitment processes
Develop a deep understanding of organizational growth strategy and associated talent needs – both short and long-term – and bring forward talent acquisition solutions to support business plans.
Develop and implement creative and effective recruiting sourcing strategies to identify pools of qualified candidates using recruitment tools like LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, networking, university recruitment, referrals, and local community-based outreach.
Source candidates using expertise in search techniques.
Identify and source appropriate internal talent for current and future open roles within SBA.
Utilize expertise using the applicant tracking system to post jobs, review applications, conduct candidate searches, and manage candidate dispositions in compliance with OFCCP, IRCA, ADA, ADEA, AAP, and EEO regulations.
Conduct initial phone interviews with candidates and utilize behavioral interviewing techniques to evaluate candidates; independently make decisions on the correct disposition of the application based on knowledge of the company, job and hiring manager's specific requirements.
Administer and interpret pre-employment tests in compliance with all employment laws.
Support candidates throughout all stages of the recruitment process while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
Counsel Hiring Managers during the recruitment process; facilitating feedback sessions.
Serve as a Trainer for Targeted Selection with hiring Managers and facilitate the training to ensure that hiring managers trained in hiring practices and evaluate the outcome.
Based on expertise of local or national job markets, consult with hiring managers throughout the process and make recommendations for changes in the search parameters.
Work flexible hours to accommodate business needs.
Train managers on effective interviewing techniques (i.e. Targeted Selection) and how to use the applicant tracking system.
Extend and negotiate offers of employment; selling the compensation package to candidates.
Work closely with Talent Acquisition Administrators to seamlessly transition portions of the recruitment process to them.
Nurture relationships with prospective talent to effectively market and sell SBA opportunities to anticipate and meet evolving hiring needs.
Participate in or lead staffing-related activities and cross-functional projects to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the function.
Draft talent acquisition procedures and policies.
Compile data for recruitment metrics and reporting.
Represent organization at career fairs and other relevant events.
Manage relationships and negotiate terms with third party search firms. Lead team members to plan and implement projects.
Support Manager, Talent Acquisition in onboarding, training and implementing development activities with team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field of study.
At least three years of experience recruiting or working in a recruiting/generalist function (i.e., sourcing, screening, interviewing applicants) with the following areas of exposure:
Managing a high requisition load and achieving KPIs in a fast-paced environment;
Experience recruiting for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives required;
Employment laws related to recruitment and hiring;
Applicant tracking systems; Ultimate Software/UltiPro is preferred.
At least one year of supervisory level experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
