Position Summary: Testing and evaluation of adhesive, coating, and equipment products to provide data for Application Engineering, Sales, R&D, and Business Development departments Responsibilities:
Testing of physical properties of new formulas
Curing and testing of new and old formulas
Preparing laboratory customer samples
Completes technical projects as assigned within established timeframes
Records all test and evaluation procedures, substrates, materials, and generated data in a properly maintained laboratory notebook
Organizes and reports data and conclusions in WORD and EXCEL formats, utilizing appropriate charts and tables
Maintains the laboratories in a professional “customer ready” state: clean, safe, and organized
Works safely and wears personal protective equipment in required areas.
Out-of-office travel to customers, trade shows, professional development seminars as demanded by the business (<5%)
Skills/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED: 2-5 years of position-related experience
Associates degree (A.E., A.S., or A.A.) or higher, in a science, from an accredited college preferred: 0-5 years of position-related experience
