Forklift / Warehouse Operations Qualifications
Order picking/ locating experience a must
1+ year of recent forklift experience
Loading and unloading experience
Experience with locating freight and detail to paperwork
Must be able to pass a Federal drug screen and background check
Ability to pass forklift testing
Ability to work
overtime as needed
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Load and unload materials off or onto pallets, platforms, skids, racking or trailers. May be done manually or with different types of lifting devices (forklift, clamp truck, hand truck, aerial lift, etc.).
Must be able to read and correctly interpret all documents for proper handling of incoming and outgoing material.
Load and unload materials off or onto pallets, platforms, skids, racking or trailers. May be done manually or with different types of lifting devices (forklift, clamp truck, hand truck, aerial lift, etc.).
Move controls, devices and levers to drive forklifts in order to transfer material to and from the dock to production areas or proper storage location in warehouse.
Organize and secure stored materials such as bales, boxes, pallets, rolls, etc.
Weigh products or materials and record weight and other production information on labels and tags.
Perform routine inspections to ensure the suitable working nature of forklift equipment.
Report to Warehouse Manager any damage to racks, faulty equipment or any other safety hazards.
Work in accordance with the state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines along with all company policies and procedures.
General housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas
