Front Desk/ Fitness Floor Staff (Finance)
Be on time, ready to start work at Welcome Center at beginning of your shift, dressed in uniform and name tag, no matter the weather.
Be open and willing to be a substitute to work a shift where there is no coverage, including opening, closing, and weekend shifts
Conduct prospective member tours, as needed
Handle member and non-member phone calls a per YMCA policies.
Perform program as well as membership sign-ups in Spirit or electronic registration system.
Be knowledgeable about YMCA policies and procedures and effectively communicate them, as needed, to members and staff.
Perform responsibilities such as; cashing out, balancing daily transactions, and dropping envelopes in safe.
Fitness Floor team members are involved in the engagement and assessment of members and program participants for a diverse population. You must be able to recognize a member's potential and limitations. Floor Staff employees will monitor the fitness floor, offer advice to members, clean fitness equipment, monitor the use of equipment and be an upbeat ambassador for the Y's healthy living mission!
Be enthusiastic, have an outgoing personality - Strong Customer Service Skills
Be interested in and have some experience within fitness
Must be reliable, flexible and adaptable
Have good communication skills and possess the ability to provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
