Digital Product Owner (Manufacturing)

NASM has pioneered evidence-based health and fitness solutions that optimize physical performance and allow individuals to achieve a variety of fitness activity goals.
The Product Owner works across the product lifecycle, focused on the execution of design, build, testing, and launch of new or enhanced customer solutions. This role will work cross-functionally with product, development and customer stakeholders to lead the successful delivery of the business's strategic product vision. This position will also measure the product post-launch to ensure product efficacy, customer adoption and satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
• Gather and document detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for product and process enhancements from internal stakeholders as they related to digital products across multiple platforms.
• Lead, collaborate with, and motivate a cross-functional team of designers, technical developers, testers and others to develop, execute and release in alignment with product roadmaps.
• Serve as a functional representative of the business with delivery teams, representing/reinforcing the customers' and the users' perspective throughout the product realization cycle.
• Actively support design and prototype work. Solicit customer, user, and other stakeholder feedback on concepts and prototypes.
• Assist with functional testing for assigned projects, including reviewing and accepting or declining output of development to ensure specified acceptance criteria have been completed.
• Support go-to-market/launch and training plans, working with marketing, operations, and development teams.
• Work with the customers and users to develop metrics to manage and track benefits, adoption and risks to operations.
• Drive ongoing improvements and efficiencies in product health, operational practices, tools and processes.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Required 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience writing user stories within JIRA
• Experience working in various development environments.
• Proven success gaining a deep understanding of customer and user experience to improve customer satisfaction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using one or more mock-up/wire-framing tools preferred.
