Senior Telecom Analyst (Finance)
Summary:
Tetra Tech is currently seeking a Senior Telecom Analyst to work in our Pasadena, CA corporate office. Candidate must have strong Avaya Aura experience, knowledgeable with emerging UC technology (Teams Phone System, Hosted PBX) and be able to work in a high paced environment supporting a global UC environment. Candidate will provide upgrade support for branch office Telecom upgrades and be knowledgeable of best practices in IT security. Analytical problem solver. Results oriented approach focused on customer experience and customer satisfaction and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to, the following: (additional duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate). Performs branch office Telephony upgrades for legacy phone systems (on-premise), projects include executing service moves, adds, changes, disconnects (MACDs), carrier conversions, system procurement. Telephony Support resource to monitor PBX system performance to assure dependable and uninterrupted operation of voice communications. Assists in translating customer needs into business solutions. Coordinates with other IT departments to understand and meet their requirements in support of telephony standards. Assures the correction of telephone system alarm conditions. Assists with administration of Telephony portion of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and determine which service components should be maintained in stock. Telephony Support resource works alongside Network Ops. In troubleshooting entire communications system for root cause issues. Develops plans to implement new or upgrade existing telephony systems. Develops emergency plans to deal with catastrophic events. Assists in specification/installation of new telephone system hardware. Maintains strong productive relationships with service providers.
Requirements:
Knowledge of Avaya's overall product line: S87XX, Aura, and system Connection/Collaboration applications, features and services.
Proficient using a variety of Phone systems (Cisco MCS7800/3725/ Avaya IP Office). Will also be asked to support other PBX solutions as needed.
Experienced with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, SIP and other network protocols, computer systems and PC software, Linux.
Networking: LAN/WAN Administration, VPN, TCP, DNS, TLS, H.323
