Reports to Competitive Gaming Commissioner
EA's next official Competitive Gaming Division franchise has yet to be announced … but behind the scenes its commissioner is spinning up the global team responsible for inspiring the world to play competitively, making stars of our players and creating the future of interactive entertainment.
We are looking for passionate, determined and humble individuals with the imagination to innovate and lead in the industry. At EA, working on “competitive gaming” is not just esports; it's also the competitive experiences in-game that impact all players. We need great talent and great minds to do right by all those players.
A key member of this new team is the Competitive Systems Manager, who will be responsible for increasing in-game and out-of-game engagement for all the game's players and maintaining healthy competition at all skill levels. As Competitive Systems Manager, you are the primary conduit between the Competitive Gaming Division and the game studio development team, working hand-in-hand with the devs on defining, prioritizing, building and refining the game's competitive features — including those that qualify players through to out-of-game competitions.
Responsibilities
The Competitive Systems Manager will drive the game's competitive in-game feature initiatives and meet the needs of our players and viewers with world-class competition structures and events.
