Position description
Surgical Technologists are integral members of the surgical team who work closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and registered nurses in delivering patient care before, during, and after surgery. Their primary responsibility is maintaining the sterile field and being constantly vigilant that all members of the team adhere to aseptic technique.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association,American Red Cross.
Additional qualifications
Certification as Operating Room Technician preferred. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Demonstrates effective communication skills. Displays professional/responsible/accountable attitude and behavior.
License or certification
Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $20.80 per hour.
