Leads teams in designing and delivering system solutions to support both new initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within PLM & MDM across the Global Organization whilst ensuring that the solutions support the overall company goals and IT strategies.
Ensures that the business teams responsible for managing the PLM & MDM function get the solution support they need to perform their jobs efficiently.
As a member of the Solution Delivery leadership team partnering with PLM & MDM management, Solution Design team and PMO teams to prioritize improvement efforts & enhancements.
Takes a leading role in projects, workshops and working parties, or carries out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit, that will benefit the individual, the Division or the Company as a whole.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively guide the global & regional PLM & MDM and other teams in ensuring that the operations of the organization are captured, processed and reported appropriately.
Lead the delivery of projects, enhancements and new systems by working with Solution Design team, other IT teams and the user community to develop solutions, define technical requirements and develop any necessary technical documentation.
Acts as the PLM & MDM systems expert in partnership with other IT teams and internal departments to deliver technology solutions that meet the system and process needs of the region and Global organization.
Support the day to day work of the PLM & MDM and other services by offering help, advice and troubleshooting on the systems that have been implemented.
Education/Experience:
A very experienced business systems analyst for PLM or MDM with a background in businesses selling physical products. Able to design technical solutions, turn them into technical requirements and support the delivery of the solutions proposed. Successful track record of delivering solutions for PLM or MDM in a large global organization.
Degree in Information Systems, Business or similar field of study, or equivalent experience.
5 – 8 years of experience as a Business System Analyst in an PLM or MDM based role
7 years of ERP experience
Extensive knowledge of PLM & MDM within an integrated ERP solution environment
Exposure to wholesale, retail & ecommerce business models
Fluent in English (Additional languages an advantage)

Works with the Solution Design team to research and propose solutions to meet the documented requirements, agreeing the most appropriate solution with the local/global users and global IT team.
Uses analysis techniques to analyze and translate solution requirements into technical requirements for both enhancements and projects.
Work with the user community to perform an analysis of issues and managing the resolution process.
Work with the various PMO's to deliver project plans and to the agreed timetables and manage appropriate resources.
Work with Local & Global IT resources to ensure that projects stay on track
Communicate technical project progress to the project managers.
Drive project and ensuring successful implementation
Perform unit testing of code, integrations & overall system anddevelops any necessary technical documentation.
Assist QA in developing any necessary QA testing documentation.
Contribute to global QA process improvements
Develop a strong understanding of Deckers systems and interdepartmental relationships, ensures that all systems implementations/changes take into account any operational impact and work with the teams concerned to appropriately integrate with the company's systems.
Assist the Solution Design team with process documentation and develop a strong understanding of business processes
Responsible for ensuring that solutions meet requirement specifications, adhere to best practices and are reliable.
Working with IT leadership and 3rd party management to ensure the use of external resources is effective and cost efficient.
Compilation of reports and documents as directed
Ensure the users are adequately trained in the usage of systems and supports training programs as needed.
Significant experience with Oracle EBS v12+ or FlexPLM
Solid experience integrating on premise systems with SaaS solutions and third party organisations.
Proven solutions design and configuration skills
Solid SDLC, technical documentation and implementation methodology
Able to lead solution development from design to completion to successful implementation.
