Nursing Strategist (Healthcare)

ATI is hiring a Nursing Strategist to provide support and strategic direction across the product, sales, service, and marketing teams to ensure that nursing industry trends are understood and incorporated.  This position assists in developing product solutions and ensures the solutions are developed to the feature and industry aligned needs that each target market segment demands.  This role will work cross-functionally with product, development, and customer stakeholders to lead the successful delivery of the business's strategic product vision. This position contributes to ATI's thought leadership internal and external, assist in developing partnerships, contributes to marketing and academic publications, and ensures the quality of ATI products meet academic and clinical best practice standards as aligned to the nursing and nursing education industry.  Position can be remote with up to 25% travel as needed.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as an expert in the nursing education community.
  • Assist the product team in defining product strategy, product roadmaps, product specifications; soliciting customer and stakeholder feedback on concepts and prototypes; ensuring that product scope and vision is delivered per specifications; and the communication, training, and marketing of new products.
  • Lead or contribute to product research and analysis of data to improve internal processes and client outcomes
  • Create and present presentations for groups at ATI as well as clients and professional organizations.
  • Develop, participate or lead thought leadership initiatives aligned with ATI vision
  • Communicate and interact with nursing education stakeholders supporting ATI/Ascend Learning mission and vision

Education and Experience: 

  • Doctoral degree in nursing or education
  • Current Registered Nurse license
  • Certified Nurse Educator is preferred
  • A minimum of five to eight years of experience teaching or leading in an academic nursing setting.
  • Experience in nursing education using ATI resources is strongly preferred.

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Current knowledge of issues and trends in nursing practice and nursing education.
  • Ability to productively work independently from a remote setting.
  • Proficient in summarizing information and providing detailed instruction.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to incorporate principles of adult learning.
  • Collaborate with a variety of individuals to deliver quality services, promote client satisfaction, and secure new business.
  • High-level presentation skills and comfort with public speaking.
  • Organize multiple tasks and succeed in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to set goals, build effective agendas, and lead successful meetings.
  • Technologically competent with PowerPoint, Zoom, MS Word, MS Teams, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat
  • Flexible and highly adaptable to a non-traditional role of nurse educator in the business environment.
  • Knowledge of nursing education, academic markets, healthcare competitive landscape and market drivers.
