Payroll & HRIS Coordinator (Administrative)



  • Responsible for maintaining the Human Resource Informational System, COBRA portal, and Retirement portal.
  • Maintains personnel files and other HR files in accordance with record keeping laws and HR best practices.
  • Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational chart, employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides support and administration of the time and attendance system for timekeepers regarding the non-exempt time card process for payroll.
  • Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis for the organization.
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations to team members and management.
  • Responsible for the benefit procedures and program.
  • Handles all employee verification requests.

*All other duties as assigned

Desired Education
Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Desired Degree
Human Resources, Accounting or Business Administration preferred

Desired Job Experience

  • 2 years' payroll processing experience required.
  • Experience working with a HRIS.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with regards to work processes and employee information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced excel skills.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • ​Certified Payroll Professional preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR preferred.
