Config Data Administrator (Information Technology)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
Manages type design changes by processing and maintaining configuration management records for documents, drawings and databases assuring that only validated changes are incorporated into product documentation. This includes, but is not limited to managing the Major/Minor Change Management database (MAC-10), Engineering Change Order (ECO) release, drawing updates and Master Drawing List (MDL) management.
Supports New Product Introduction (NPI) and prototype data activities through design to release.
Performs quality checks, data maintenance, and resolution of workflow issues within the MAC-10 and PDM (Product Data Management) databases.
Functions as the Technical Data Manager (TDM) role in the PDM.
Provides user support and guidance in the use and workflow of the PDM within established policies and procedures.
Plays pivotal role in the transition of the current MAC-10 system to an integrated change control system within the PDM.
Supports certificate audits of the AS9100, AS9110 and FAA Production and Type Design Certificates.
Supports the control and release of documents within the PDM in accordance with multiple approval paths.
Works with the Technical Writing group in the control and release of documents within the document control database.
Provides support to management with the monitoring and expediting of approvals within numerous workflow processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - Prefer aerospace or general aviation, FAA commercial experience.
Familiarity with configuration management principles and practices.
Experience with SolidWorks highly desirable.
Ability to read and understand drawings highly desirable.
Familiarity working with Bills of Materials highly desirable.
Strong internal/external customer relation skills with ability to manage interdepartmental workflows across multiple databases.
Detail-oriented with ability to compile, sort, analyze, and verify accuracy of information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment while working efficiently and providing a quality product with high attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to technically interact with team members to gather, compile and document required information.
