Supports the function of the Zimmer Biomet Institute (ZBI) as well as supporting educational programs and courses. This position requires the ability to multitask and support various concurrent programs, prepare for those programs, and manage needs appropriately. Supports the implementation and assessment of educational activities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Performs tasks to ensure the compliant and appropriate operation of the Surgical Skills lab including: • Setting up stations to accommodate procedures • Preparing and setting out necessary instruments and products • Ensuring proper Biohazard waste disposal • Maintaining clean/sanitary and stocked locker rooms and supply room • Decontaminating and placing instruments back into inventory • Assisting groups using the lab with extra tools, clean-up, procedures, etc. Maintain appropriate levels of inventory including but not limited to, non-transplantable human tissue, instruments, lab equipment and supplies inventory by forecasting needs for various events. Ensure proper handling that is compliant with the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) and Zimmer Biomet standard operating procedures. Coordinate Surgical Skills Lab schedule for all lab activities at the Warsaw site and off-site facilities. Assist Zimmer Institute team to develop the annual operating plan for business segments based on strategic plan. Efficiently plan, prepare and pack resources for off-site events. Prepares invoices and expense reports and supports segment team for reconciliation of monthly finance projections and overall segment budget management, including the strategic reallocation of funding based on business needs. Support the development and evaluation of innovative education and communication technologies relevant to the Zimmer Biomet Institute and business segment goals. Assist Zimmer Institute team to execute program metrics and reporting and understand how results can meet customer needs.
