Respiratory Therapist (0.9 FTE) (Healthcare)
For East Market, MMES location:
Responsible for performing all aspects of respiratory care equipment set up including instructing customers of all ages and abilities on the safe and proper use of equipment along with related home safety, infection control and emergency preparedness issues. Also responsible for detailed knowledge of respiratory equipment use and purpose, including contraindications, and general knowledge of durable medical equipment and supplies. Performs rotating 24 hour on-call duty. Maintains all required documentation in customer files and/or care plans and performs periodic follow up equipment and home assessments.

Graduate from an accredited respiratory care/therapy program.
For staff hired after June of 2019: Staff must obtain and maintain certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist within 18 months of hire or transfer.
For All staff: Must hold state licensure in appropriate state of practice upon hire.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified within 1 month
MMES location:
Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist or a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, as defined by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to Essentia Health's insurance provider.
East MMES:
Must have active and valid Respiratory Therapist licensure through the Minnesota and Wisconsin Boards of Medical Practice.
