Wash Rack Operator (Construction)
SUMMARY
Primary responsibilities include performing truck washing process at plant facility using high pressure equipment, hoses and approved products. Performs general clean up and maintenance for plant facility.

TRAINING REQUIRED: Employee Orientation; Safety Training; May perform more advanced functions as part of training and development.

Direct supervision: Specific instructions are given on assignments or follows written or verbal instructions and established procedures and standard practice to perform assigned tasks. Expectations are for operator to work efficiently and safely and represent the company professionally and with a service orientation with our customers.
Complexity of Duties and Decisions:
Performs a variety of manual functions. Follows established procedures to perform standardized or routine tasks. Must follow established operational, process control, compliance and safety and emergency response procedures. Must adhere to specifications and schedules. Notifies proper individuals concerning damaged items or need for repairs on facility.
Initiative: Uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments. Waits for direction for next steps or assignments outside of routine. Keeps supervisor informed of problem matters. Impact is minimal.
INTERPERSONAL / COMMUNICATIONS
Little or no contacts except with immediate associates and immediate supervisor for instructions, training and guidance. Frequent customer communications as product is brought to facilities by truck.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND DEMANDS
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet, humid and outside weather conditions.
Physical Demands: Agility and flexibility is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, fingers, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, climb, or kneel to perform maintenance on the equipment and job duties. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
