the hospital in a clean and sanitary manner.
Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment and damp mops floors. Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility rooms
and bathrooms. Wet mops rooms, halls, stairways, and public areas. Vacuums and shampoos rugs and
furniture. Cleans vents, fans and other equipment using vacuum machines. Cleans fixtures, tops of windows,
door frames and high areas using a ladder. Removes waste and soiled linens from work area and places in
specified bags or containers.
Operates mechanical floor cleaners, polishers and vacuums. Buffs, strips, waxes and polishes floors.
Performs terminal cleaning procedures of patient rooms and prepares room for new patient.
Maintains a clean and dust-free environment to assist in infection control.
Cleans specialized areas as assigned by supervisor
Part-Time, 22.5 hrs/wk
