I-O Medical Scientist, GU Cancers (Finance)
The I-O Medical Scientist and indication lead for GU cancers will provide leadership and direction to the US Medical team for GU cancers, works with colleagues on the the GU (RCC, Bladder, Prostate) and larger DA team and focus on strategy, planning, development, and implementation of an immuno-oncology program for GU cancers. In partnership with US Commercial and in collaboration with the HQ Medical and Development Teams, the I-O Medical Scientist and indication lead pursues a strategic vision for the product life-cycle. This position requires the ability to organize and simply communicate complex data, align others behind a medical strategy across a matrix and partnerships, and to create and energize high performing medical teams. This individual will set clear and challenging targets that allow skilled and empowered professionals to accomplish business objectives consistent with department/program goals. This position requires objective and effective decision making, and the ability to successfully manage integration points across all BMS functional and commercialization areas to ensure alignment. The I-O Medical Scientist GU will report to the I-O Medical Lead GU in US Medical.

Critical Responsibilities include:
Developing a medical plan that is both product specific and disease area focused and in alignment with US Commercial (USC) and Headquarter Medical (HQM), translating appropriate Commercial and HQM strategies into effective US Medical launch and life cycle management activities.
Active leadership and participation as core member on the Headquarter Medical Team and closely collaborating and partnering with worldwide counterparts to craft the HQM plan that ensures US market needs are addressed.
Leadership of US cross-functional medical matrix teams (MMTs) which include USM data generation and knowledge transfer resources to drive timely and flawless execution.
Transparent communication and close collaboration with US Commercial & Access organizations to integrate medical perspectives into the commercialization process and ensure appropriate alignment between commercial and medical.
Externally focused and connected to high impact external influencers in order to identify and translate key insights and to appropriately drive adoption of BMS medicines.
Leadership of TA aligned field facing resources that provide them with the necessary coaching to ensure customer objectives are met.
Contributes when appropriate to shaping the competitive strategies around pricing and reimbursement by influencing a US perspective for the target product profile, label language and value considerations.
Continually measure and assess the execution of USM and tumor specific medical plans.
Requirements:
Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD)
Therapeutic area scientific & clinical expertise
Familiarity with all phases of oncology drug development, including clinical development, regulatory and life cycle management.

Qualifications: Doctorate, Pharmacy, Physician would be a pro. Candidate should have the ability to speak English. Should be experienced in Therapeutic Area and/or experience in Oncology for minimum 1 year.
