Develop, implement, and administer all aspects of Lean Manufacturing principles throughout the Elyria plant. Lead the training and application of lean principles along with driving continuous improvement, process efficiency and customer satisfaction throughout the supply chain.
· Manage the Lean Manufacturing Program by promoting a culture of continuous improvement and provide a vision for how manufacturing strategies will evolve toward ever improving efficiency.
· Responsible for developing and distributing communications at all levels within the plant.
· Motivate, encourage, and coach employees in the expanded and consistent use of Lean Manufacturing principles.
· Establish a foundation for standard work, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
· Develop Lean training curriculum and administer training of all plant employees.
· In cooperation with staff personnel, identify targets for improvement that are compatible with the business strategy. Develop action plans to implement improvements in target areas. Facilitate teams to work on target projects and coordinate resources necessary to accomplish project goals.
· Oversee development and implementation of 5S and TPM strategies in the plant. Develop and implement a 5S inspection program to ensure consistent application. Assist Manager of Manufacturing Support in development and implementation of TPM plant wide.
· Strive to continually improve personal education in latest Lean Manufacturing techniques and tools.
· Achieve Certification as a Lean Champion, and higher levels as practical.
· Seek and review current events and new developments in Lean Manufacturing implementation and administration.

· 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
· Demonstrated experience in leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives and applying tools
· Bachelor degree required
· 6-sigma Black Belt certification preferred
