About the Foundation:
Trellis Foundation is a public charitable organization focused on improving educational attainment for low- to moderate-income students who may not otherwise have an opportunity to earn a postsecondary credential or degree.
About the position:
The Graduate Fellow will support the projects, grant review and thought leadership of the Foundation. The Fellow will be exposed to various areas of the grantmaking program, including proposal reviews, analysis of critical issues, writing case studies, outcomes development and tracking, and reports on grant implementation. A major responsibility will be assisting in monitoring grantee projects and writing progress reports.
Students must reside in Texas. Preference will be given to students in a graduate program at an HBCU in Texas.
Starting Pay and Hours:
$20 Per Hour for 15-20 hours per week.
Location and Assignment:
This is a non-exempt position primarily based remotely. The fellow may be required to visit our offices in Round Rock, Texas, as often as once a month. If travel is required to our offices, the Foundation will cover the expenses (within Texas) but travel time will not be included in the fellow's hours.
Start date and term length are flexible but are expected to include the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters, with a preferred start date of August 1, 2020.
