Brand Marketing Manager (Marketing)



The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing campaigns across multiple channels and mediums to ensure Morrie's continued success.  The role will champion the Morrie's brand for the customer experience along the customer's journey, blending thought and strategic leadership with brand execution and performance ownership.  The Brand Marketing Manager should have a customer-centric and ROI based mindset.  The motivated individual should have experience managing resources and projects for print (event booths, signs, collateral, print advertising, etc), digital (web, email, social media, HTML, CSS, etc) against marketing roadmaps with cross functional teams.  This person should also be able to approach problem solving in a composed, solution oriented, and highly creative manner, as there is a continuous need for original and forward thinking with respect to evolving needs of the team and company process.  The right candidate will possess strong preference for working in a collaborative and open work environment.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Direct the brand strategy, creative content and customer experience to business priorities and ROI results
  • Partner with marketing team and store management to translate marketing strategies into marketing messaging across marketing channels
  • Serve as a trusted partner between Marketing, Sales, Service, working closely with agencies and store leadership to translate business objectives to marketing strategies, implementations, customer engagement and growth
  • Analyze, implement and execute marketing projects
  • Coordinate project delivery with internal team, partners and store teams
  • Coordinate with agencies to ensure integration and compliance with manufacturers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a consistent brand identity across multiple channels
  • Provides objectives, evaluates performance and gives interim and annual performance reviews of direct reports

Core Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree with emphasis in marketing, advertising, public relations, design, communications, or related field preferred or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in project management/operations working closely with a design/marketing team
  • Strong planning, organizational and project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial 'can do' approach with an adaptable change-oriented mindset
  • Combination of marketing knowledge, technical expertise and overall project management skills
  • Extensive experience managing multiple complex projects and budgets all at once
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines, and cope with changes
  • Ability to work closely with agency partners to seamlessly deliver a unified message across all advertising mediums (digital and traditional)
  • Extensive knowledge of brand standards and best practices
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Established standards and practices (request submissions, tracking, follow up, etc.) and ensuring team deliverable meeting high standards
  • Working knowledge of custom HTML and CSS
  • Working knowledge of SEO content creation and performance analysis
