Job Opportunity:
Under the direct supervision of the Program Supervisor, the SUD Registered Intern will perform direct resident services as assigned by the SUD Supervisor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Required Credentials, Abilities, & Experience:
Current registration obtained prior to hire, with California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP), with Breining Institute, or any other certifying organization currently approved by the State of California's Counselor Certification Unit, Alcohol & Drug Programs (ADP). High school diploma or GED. 1-3 years of paid work experience in alcohol and drug services.
The Certified SUD Counselor must be registered with CCAPP or CCADE and must carry an active status on the certifying organization's members list. The Certified SUD Counselor must retain an active status for the duration of their employment and maintain a current certification, obtaining required CEU's per the guidelines of the certifying organization(s). Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in the English language. Additional requirements include:
