Valencia College is seeking a Professor, Chemistry to join our dedicated, passionate faculty team as a full-time, 8-month annual appointment beginning fall 2019.

Degree Requirement: Master's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in Chemistry OR a Master's degree + 18 graduate semester hours in Chemistry by the official start date , August 2019.

Salary: Full Time Faculty positions are compensated based on the Full Time Faculty Salary Schedule.
Work Hours: Teaching assignments may include day, night, or weekend classes.

As an 8-month, annually appointed faculty member, you will be primarily responsible for teaching in discipline, planning, organizing and providing feedback to promote and direct student learning. This position is appointed each year and contracted to teach six courses, maintain 12 office hours and, in addition, works with the dean to identify and then contribute five hours of service in areas that support student learning and engagement.
