Rosemount™ Measurement & Analytical, a business unit of Emerson Automation Solutions, is currently seeking an Associate Maintenance Technician.
 
Rosemount™ is a signature brand of Emerson, offering a comprehensive line of measurement instrumentation, analyzers and systems which are used in a wide range of applications found in critical processing facilities such as refineries, chemical plants, power plants, pipelines, and more.
 
Description
Assists in the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of production machinery and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities
• Works in a production environment with Safety as the primary goal. Practices safe work habits wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all tasks.
• Troubleshoots problems with production equipment.
• Performs basic preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Follows engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams and manuals to understand, diagnose issues and repair
production equipment.
• Possesses knowledge of soldering.
• Uses hand tools, including drilling, measuring tools, taps and presses.
• Works with maintenance tracking software.
• Works as part of a team learning to support all areas of production. Is flexible in moving between production
areas based on business need.
• Possesses a basic knowledge of automation and robotics.
• Possesses knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Demonstrates
• Basic repair knowledge
• Basic laser knowledge
• Developing troubleshooting skills
• Developing mechanical and electrical skills
• Performs other duties as assigned.  


Requirements
1800 hours of technical education or equivalent.
