JOB SUMMARY:
Organize and direct work that surveys the earth's surface to determine precise location and measurement of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapmaking, land division and titles, and other purposes. Determine methods and procedures for establishing or reestablishing survey control. Perform construction stakeouts, and boundary surveys, prepare metes and bounds descriptions of surveyed areas. Produce drawings from raw survey data. Prepare exhibits of surveyed land. Keeps accurate notes, records and sketches to describe and certify work performed. Maintain and store drawings files for active projects. Assist in the preparation of land development plans and correspondence. Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architecture personnel, clients, and others concerned with project.
The purpose of this requisition is to gather a resource pool of candidates that will go through the hiring process. Candidate will remain in the pool until a position becomes available.
This position will be assigned to various locations both CONUS and OCONUS.
