Communication Specialist (SOD-Office Of The Dean) (Finance)
Provides a broad range of communications support to departmental programs including writing and editing, project planning, health education/promotion activities.
POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Knowledge of Associated Press Style preferred
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications or related field (such as media production, marketing, etc.) or relevant experience in lieu of education.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
Three years of experience in public relations, communications, writing/editing or related field.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
