Our Blackboard Partner Program provides an ecosystem that enables our clients with a richer, more engaging educational experience for their learners, no matter what their unique needs may be. As Business Development Manager for Partnerships, you will be responsible for helping develop solutions to meet the needs of our growing portfolio of partners in addition to managing an existing book of business with our publishing partners. Working across the Partnerships team, you will support partner discovery, solution and proposal development, and market research and collaborate with marketing and product management in order to achieve quarterly and annual targets. You'll support the development and execution of new business and sales activities by meeting with prospective partners to identify goals, developing and pricing solutions aligned to partner needs and working with delivery teams to identify current opportunities for expansion.
In this role, one of your key responsibilities will be to define solutions that reflect a solid ROI for the partner, sound pricing models for the business, and achievable performance indicators for the team. You will meet with existing strategic partners in the content industry and be responsible for growing and evolving this important, established business. You'll utilize your expertise in building relationships based on mutual value creation and strategic goals to successfully pitch new business. You will interact with partners to conduct discovery, develop proposals, educate on solutions, and confidently present approach and unique differentiators, but also work across departments to validate approaches and confirm stakeholder buy-in.
