American Food & Vending, one of the fastest growing dining and catering companies in the country, is currently hiring for the position of Line Cook. This full time position is Monday to Friday, and is located at a business dining Cafe.
Job duties for the LineCook:
Prep food for daily specials
Prepare Breakfast and Lunch menu items from grill station to order:egg dishes, burgers, sandwiches and specials
Prepare specials and "Bowls" - broth, veggies, meats, spices
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Responsible for record -keeping associated with production logs and temps
Job requirements include:
Ability to read all recipes and prep sheets ;
Knife and culinary skills required
Minimum two (2) years' experience in a grill or line cook position
Must enjoy being in a customer service environment as you interact daily with customers
