Clinician (Access) (Healthcare)

Join LifeWays as anAccess Clinician, where youll provide trauma-informed, culturally competent evaluations and connect individuals to the mental health services they need.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm, No Weekends
As an Access Clinician, you will:
Conduct thorough intake assessments for Medicaid and other health plans to determine service needs.Screen and connect individuals to appropriate community resources and crisis interventions.Provide on-call and crisis services in diverse settings, including hospitals, schools, and homes.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure individuals receive the best possible care.Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support effective service delivery.

Knowledge: Expertise in Michigans community mental health system and behavioral health practices.Skills: Strong interpersonal, time-management, and documentation abilities.Abilities: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, respond to challenges with sound judgment, and adapt quickly to change.
