Sort Manager HUB (Transportation)
OnTrac is hiring a Sort Manager!!
Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM with 5 working days!!
The Sort Manager manages all the sort's activities within assigned areas of the HUB. The Sort Manager manages all volume within assigned sort ensuring that all packages are handled within quality standards and worker's environment is safe and conducive to efficient operations. The Sort Manager makes sure that incoming and outgoing volume is directed to the correct destination and leaves on time.
The Sort Manager ensures that all new employees are trained in safe and effective methods to manage packages throughout the sortation system.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in warehouse and office environment. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to communicate verbally. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, climb, push, pull, twist or crouch. The physical activity associated with this position is considered high. The employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Minimum requirements for a Sort Manager are two years industry experience and one year as a lead, supervisor or a degree.
For Internal candidates- must be with company for 1 year and no disciplinary actions for 6 months.
