The role is an opportunity to join the Ultra-High Net Worth ("UHNW") Lending and Deposit team in New York as a full-time Analyst. The UHNW Group is a dedicated investment banking team delivering institutional coverage, advisory, and bespoke financing solutions to UHNW individuals and families and the companies they control.

As an Analyst on the UHNW Lending team, you are expected to have an understanding of the full range of lending solutions and deposit products the team offers. You will build knowledge of the capabilities and distinct characteristics of UHNW individuals and institutional Family Offices, and support senior lending and deposit specialists to execute lending and deposit transactions for these clients, and help maintain these transactions throughout their life cycle. The role offers a high degree of responsibility helping manage a fast growing and high profile business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Help structure and execute complex lending solutions for UHNW clients, and help maintain each respective transaction post-closing and the overall lending book
  • Work with senior lending structurers to develop innovative financing solutions for clients and prospects
  • Help facilitate the risk management of the lending book
  • Maintain the overall product platform, including collateral asset custody and execution
  • Help source and execute deposit transactions for UHNW and Corporate clients, and help maintain the deposit book
  • Gain exposure and work in partnership with a variety of internal groups around the firm
  • High visibility and impact as part of an entrepreneurial effort that is central to the bank's strategy
  • Build a network of colleagues inside CS that will strengthen your career throughout your professional life

You Offer
Interested candidates must have Financial Services experience and a degree from a four-year university. Credit Suisse is noted for the diversity of its employees, but seeks candidates with a common set of abilities:

  • Understanding of credit with strong quantitative analytical skills

  • Ability to understand legal documentation and complex transactions
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently, and as part of a team
  • General understanding of investment banking business and the products/services it offers
  • Result oriented with ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent PC skills; proficient knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint is a plus!
