Strategic Club Partner Manager (Information Technology)

Since 1987, the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) has set the standard in certification, continuing education, solutions and tools for health and fitness, sports performance and sports medicine professionals. NASM has pioneered evidence-based health and fitness solutions that optimize physical performance and allow individuals to achieve a variety of fitness activity goals.
The purpose of this position is to drive revenue through the development of strategic relationships and implementation of solutions for key health club partners. This position calls for a leader who is action-oriented, strategic, tactical and able to navigate corporate dynamics to successfully penetrate and grow specific national accounts. This person will serve as a strategic consultant for the health club team as well as internal stakeholders and colleagues. It will be critical to have a combination of sales skills, industry knowledge, analytical ability and be adept at influencing decision makers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Research, develop and implement business plans and market expansion strategies to achieve strategic health club sales and market growth goals.
• Manage Strategic Health Club Partnerships to achieve revenue goals and drive increases in Life Time Value of Strategic Accounts. Responsibilities include KPI & Best Practice development, account forecasting and relationship management.
• Identify and develop strategic relationships with key industry leaders and players, ensuring company and colleagues stay in tune with critical market trends and opportunities.
• Work with management and legal counsel to negotiate and formalize terms and agreements with strategic health club partners.
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop and grow B2B solutions for the health club channel that leverage the
Education & Experience:
• College degree (bachelor's preferred) or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years of sales, management, or account management related work in the health and fitness industry.
• Ability and proven track record of sales production and results.
Skills & Abilities:
• Technical expertise on NASM and AFAA products
• Strong business relationship building skills and track record of success
• Proficient collaborator with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven high performer and results driver
• Project management and organization
• Understand fitness facility management and the unique needs of fitness professionals and facility coordinators/managers/owners.
Other Requirements:
This position will include travel for industry related live events and in-person facility visits.
