Technical Manager, Education (Finance)
Position Summary:
The Technical Manager will provide leadership to various international projects in MSI's Education Practice Area. The Manager will collaborate with team members in the U.S. and overseas offices and with external consultants in research, monitoring, evaluation, assessment, data analysis, and policy analysis. The Technical Manager's responsibilities will be in technical leadership, management, and business development. The successful candidate will conduct literature reviews and syntheses, data analysis, and report writing. Management responsibilities will include the development of scopes of work and technical work plans, ensuring quality control, communicating with partner organizations, managing external consultants, and responding to client needs. Business development responsibilities will include contributing to technical proposals and supporting the recruitment of staff and consultants.
The Technical Manager will be based in MSI's headquarters in Arlington, Virginia and will report to the MSI Education Practice Area Lead and/or a Technical Director.
