Austin office of our client seeks patent prosecution associate attorney with 2-4 years of patent prosecution experience. The candidate will work in the firms Life Sciences patent group. Backgrounds in one of the following fields: chemistry, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, organic synthetic chemistry, organic chemistry, cellular/molecular biology, genetics, immunology, cancer biology, biophysics, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar programs will be needed. Current Patent Bar membership with previous law firm experience. Candidates are expected to draft and prosecute patent applications, prepare patent opinion letters, provide IP counseling to clients, and conduct patent due diligence studies in connection with business transactions.
