Tetra Tech is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide advanced or senior level support related financial analysis and management.
Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Senior Analyst would be responsible for the Business Services Group, AJG-R1, budget execution automation efforts as well as communication strategies to include but not limited to:
Development, Coordination, and Maintenance of automated budget data analysis and reporting. This includes coordination with existing dashboard developers to explore the possibility of leveraging existing data connections and blends, and modification of existing views.
ATO Year End KSN. Maintenance, updating and enhancements to ATO's Year End KSN site and process. Familiarization training for all Service Unit financial points of contact and technical assistance as needed.
ATO Allowance Identification Documents (AIDs). Maintenance, updating and enhancements to ATO's AID KSN site and process. Familiarization training for all Service Unit financial points of contact and technical assistance as needed.
Development, Coordination, and Maintenance of Business Services Group communications and information via various platforms including but not limited to official internal websites, KSN, and SharePoint pages.
Ad hoc support for other financial analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Functions include: invoice validation and payment; expense classification.
Cost estimation and/or projection; resolution of billing errors.
May provide supervision and/or guidance to less experienced/qualified Financial Management Analysts.
The successful candidate will have:
At least 6 years of progressive business/financial management related experience with some concentration of effort in serving as team lead on identified tasks
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Financial Management, or a directly related field. An MBA or graduate degree in a business related field may be substituted for 2 years of work related experience
Experience must include performance of tasking involving some or all of the following:
Cost estimation
Budget planning and preparation
Budget tracking
Expenditure analysis
Budget execution
Business system requirements development
Business process reengineering.
Knowledgeable of Information Technology applications in Financial Management processes
Working knowledge of the federal budget process
Proficient with the use of the FAA's Financial Management Systems to include DELPHI, FMS, Simplified Program Information Report & Evaluation (SPIRE) and the CWP toolset
Advanced expertise in Tableau, KSN, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Adobe
Ability to work collaboratively with others, manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and work independently in a fast paced and results oriented environment
Knowledge and understanding of the federal and congressional budget processes, principles, objectives, and regulations, for budget formulation and execution is a plus but not required
