The New York Fed is searching for a People Readiness Leader who will have accountability for all Talent Acquisition and Talent Development, and will be responsible for translating business strategy to talent strategy. In this role, you will develop best in class programs that attract and retain exceptional talent while promoting and advancing Diversity & Inclusion.
The People Readiness Group manages end-to-end hiring, including outreach and recruitment initiatives, provides classification and position management services, directs staffing and hiring programs and provides a wide-ranging array of classroom and virtual learning and development opportunities to all staff. Our mission is to develop all employees and managers to ensure high performance and productivity with the result of a collaborative, effective, and engaged workplace. The group is also responsible for effectively balancing the supply and demand for talent. They help mitigate talent risks and respond to staffing needs through a combination of analyses and reports. This includes examining patterns and trends in organizational size, workforce costs, workforce capabilities and demographics, quality-of-hire and employee turnover.
Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will bring the capacity to lead change by informing, influencing and inspiring others, with passion and values about people, inclusion, engagement and culture. You will model and set a tone of expectation with respect to collaborating with colleagues and others proactively, relying heavily on the expertise and leadership of others across the Bank and System to achieve shared accountability for desired outcomes.
