LMS Application System Administrator (Finance)
We are seeking a Learning Management System Administrator for an opportunity with our client in Herndon, VA.
The Learning Management System Administrator position is one that is highly collaborative with other members of the client talent development team. This position will serve as advanced functional application support, documentation, and client's lead for the Meridian LMS operational processes. The LMS Administrator will also have access to Meridian application Subject-Matter-Experts (SME) as backup when, and/ if necessary.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage the standards, procedures, data integrity, reporting and overall functionality of the Meridian Learning Management System. This includes coordinating maintenance and upgrades; creating and running standard and ad hoc reports; setting up and managing offerings, monitoring enrollment and cancelling/rescheduling courses and participants when needed
Collaborates with, consults, and advises instructional designers and other key stakeholders of the LMS environment to support the development and deployment of content
Ensure appropriate course/curricula setup and assignment based on job classification, regulatory and competence requirements
Support global system administrators in use of the Learning Management System
Create detailed, ad hoc job aids as needed
Conduct informal training sessions on related topics of interest to the client staff
Serves as level 1.5 support for "how-to" related issues

Required:
This job operates in an office setting which incurs moderate noise consistent with a business office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical attributes are required, for instance, manual dexterity/typing, read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as well as, ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
